What Is The Greek Museum - The Center for Greek American Heritage?

Since its founding in 2005, The Greek Museum - The Center for Greek American Heritatge has undertaken the mission of preserving and recording the accomplishments of the Greek immigrants in the metropolitan area. 

 

The orjectives include:

 

1.  To preserve the contributions of Greek immigrants to the American culture

 

2.  To collect, care for, and interpret tangible objects that prpresent the life of Greeks in America

 

3.  Awaken public awareness of the contributions of Greek immigrants

 

4.  Create an educationa center that will include a library for books, music and art.

 

5.  Open a facition close to other similar museusm.

 

6.  Present rotating exhbits related to the Greek American expeirence.
